
Coach Trenton Crain:
Trent’s weightlifting journey began in 2012 when he joined the Lindenwood team as an athlete. He came in with a general athletic background in the movements, but nothing weightlifting-specific — that came next.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science in 2014, followed by a Master’s in Human Performance in 2016, all while serving as a Graduate Assistant for the Lindenwood Weightlifting team.
From 2016 to 2021, Trent worked as an Assistant Coach for Lindenwood Weightlifting, an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, and an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at McKendree University. In 2021, he was named Head Coach of Lindenwood Weightlifting.

Coach Calvin Lackey:
Calvin was first introduced to weightlifting through high school sports, quickly becoming obsessed with using the Olympic lifts to boost his performance in track and field. His self-taught technique earned him a scholarship to join the Lindenwood University weightlifting team.
After his freshman year, Calvin was named team captain — helping lead Lindenwood to a four-peat national championship, along with a 2025 individual national title of his own.

- Clean & Jerk: 177kg / 390lbs
As co-owner of Lionheart, Calvin has worked with hundreds of athletes both remotely and in person.


Coach Devin Mundy:
Devin’s journey in Olympic weightlifting began in 2012 with Lindenwood University. Shortly after joining the team, Devin began interning under the head coach — an experience that quickly grew into a lasting passion for understanding and teaching the Olympic lifts.
Since then, Devin has coached and trained hundreds of athletes, from local youth and Masters lifters to national and international champions.
After earning a B.S. in Exercise Science and Nutrition, Devin went on to work as an assistant coach with Lindenwood Weightlifting, as well as locally at XM Fitness in Fenton, MO.Coaching Highlights:

YOUTH COACHES
Coach Danny Morrow:
Danny originally found weightlifting through his high school strength and conditioning coach. After joining the Lindenwood Weightlifting team Danny would work his way to being a member of Lindenwood’s extremely dominant 2026 championship team. During this time Danny also developed his coaching skills through 3 summers working for his alma matter’s summer strength and conditioning program.
Danny is a USA Weightlifting Level 1 certified weightlifting coach


Coach Stella Inman:
Stella recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where she competed as a Division I thrower in discus, weight throw, shot put, and hammer. While at Penn, she also pursued powerlifting, winning the 2026 USA Powerlifting Junior National Championship in the 82.5kg weight class.
Her coaching background includes four semesters as a Strength & Conditioning work-study/intern at Penn, assisting Division I strength coaches across multiple sports and presenting on key strategies for coaching female athletes.
Stella holds both USA Weightlifting Level 1 and Level 2 coaching certifications, and has recently transitioned to Olympic weightlifting after being recruited as the first athlete in the new USA Weightlifting Transition Athlete Program.
Coaching Philosophy:
Stella loves helping athletes achieve their goals — especially empowering female athletes to build confidence, discover their love for strength training, and realize what they’re capable of both in and out of the gym.
